The iPhone 8 is better than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, getting an 85 score against 75.8. IPhone 8's body is newer, much thinner and incredibly lighter than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. The Apple iPhone 8 counts with a faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a higher number of faster cores.
The Galaxy S7 Active has a brighter display than Apple iPhone 8, because although it has much lower brightness, it also counts with a much greater amount of pixels per screen inch, a quite larger display and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2560. The Apple iPhone 8 takes a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for capturing images in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same resolution back-facing camera, the Apple iPhone 8 also counts with better video frame rates.
