Comparison review
IPhone 8 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S8, with an 85 score against 81.7. The iPhone 8 design is a bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S8, even when they were only released 5 months apart. The iPhone 8 has a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has lesser RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a 64 bits processor.
Galaxy S8 counts with a little bit better screen than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a bigger display, way more pixels per display inch and a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. IPhone 8 features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures and video in poorly lited situations and a smaller sensor which offers a worse photo and video quality, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and a same resolution camera, the iPhone 8 also counts with better video frame rate.
IPhone 8 has a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy S8 counts with a much better battery life than iPhone 8, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 1821mAh.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy S8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy iPhone 8, else you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S8, letting go some specs and features.
