Comparison review
Xperia 1 III is slightly better than Apple iPhone 8, having a 93.3 score against 85. Xperia 1 III's design is newer than Apple iPhone 8's, but it is a lot heavier and just a bit thicker. Apple iPhone 8 has just a bit better processing power than Xperia 1 III, because although it has 10 GB less RAM memory and an inferior number of cores, it also counts with a 64 bits processor.
Xperia 1 III counts with a brighter display than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a lot better display density, a way larger screen and a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px. Sony Xperia 1 III captures slightly better pictures and videos than Apple iPhone 8, and although they both have a camera with a 12 MP resolution and the same (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has higher video frame rates, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing way better quality pictures and a larger camera aperture.
The Xperia 1 III counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than iPhone 8, and although they both have the same 256 GB internal storage, the Xperia 1 III also has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB. Sony Xperia 1 III features a much better battery life than iPhone 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
The Sony Xperia 1 III costs a lot more than the iPhone 8, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
