Apple iPhone 8 is just a bit better than Xperia XZ2 Compact, having a general score of 85 against 79. Apple iPhone 8's body is noticeably thinner and somewhat lighter than Xperia XZ2 Compact, even though they were released only 7 months apart. The iPhone 8 has just a bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of slower cores, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
