Comparison review
The iPhone 8 has an overall score of 85, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 8's score of 83.3. IPhone 8's construction is somewhat lighter and a bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi 8, although both were released with only 9 months difference. Xiaomi Mi 8 has just a bit better screen than iPhone 8, because although it has a quite opaque screen, it also counts with a really bigger display, a much higher 1080 x 2248 resolution and a little better pixel density.
Xiaomi Mi 8's storage for apps and games is very similar to iPhone 8's one, both have equal 256 GB internal memory. Apple iPhone 8 has a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has 2 lesser and slower processing cores and 4 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
Xiaomi Mi 8 has a much better battery life than iPhone 8, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity. Apple iPhone 8 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor giving a lower image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a back camera with a 12 mega-pixels and a F1.8 camera aperture, the Apple iPhone 8 also counts with better video frame rate.
