Comparison review
Apple iPhone 8 has a general score of 85, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 9's general score of 83.2. The Apple iPhone 8 is an older phone than Xiaomi Mi 9, but Apple was able to build it somewhat lighter and a bit thinner anyway. The Xiaomi Mi 9 has a bit better looking display than iPhone 8, because although it has a little darker display, it also counts with a way better 1080 x 2340 resolution, a just a bit higher count of pixels in each inch of display and a way bigger display.
The iPhone 8 features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has more internal memory. IPhone 8 counts with a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Mi 9, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of slower cores, it also counts with a 64-bits processor.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Apple iPhone 8, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also has a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much higher resolution camera.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 features a way better battery duration than Apple iPhone 8, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.
