IPhone 8 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, having a score of 85 against 77.5. The iPhone 8 is a just a bit thinner and much lighter cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, although they were only released 4 months apart. Apple iPhone 8 counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, although it has a much smaller display, a just a bit worse pixel amount per display inch and a way worse resolution of 750 x 1334.
The Apple iPhone 8 counts with a better performing processor than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a 64 bits CPU. Apple iPhone 8 captures slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a tinier sensor taking less light and washed colors, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and a 12 mega pixels back-facing camera, the Apple iPhone 8 also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rate and a bigger camera aperture to capture better low light photography.
Apple iPhone 8 counts with just a bit bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a superior battery performance than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a 191% larger battery capacity.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
