The Huawei Mate X has a global score of 89.4, which is a bit better than iPhone XS Max's 84.5 global score. Huawei Mate X's construction is newer, but incredibly heavier and way thicker than iPhone XS Max. The iPhone XS Max has a little better hardware performance than Huawei Mate X, because although it has an inferior number of cores and also slower and 4 GB less RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processor.
Apple iPhone XS Max features a little more vivid screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a way worse 1242 x 2688px resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite higher display density. The Apple iPhone XS Max features a superior camera than Huawei Mate X, although it has a much smaller camera sensor offering a way worse image quality and a back camera with lot less mega pixels, they both have the same camera aperture.
