Comparison review

IPhone XS Max is slightly better than the Galaxy Note8, having an 84.5 score against 83. The iPhone XS Max is a newer and thinner phone than Galaxy Note8, although it's a little heavier. The Apple iPhone XS Max counts with just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a lower number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit.

IPhone XS Max features a little bit better screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1242 x 2688 and a little lower display pixels density, it also counts with a bit larger display. The Apple iPhone XS Max features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures or videos in low-light environments, and they both have a same resolution back camera, a 0.39 inches sensor and the same (4K) video resolution, the Apple iPhone XS Max also counts with better 60 fps video frame rates.

Galaxy Note8 counts with a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than iPhone XS Max, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has a SD extension slot that admits up to 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 has just a bit better battery performance than iPhone XS Max, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3179mAh.

Although iPhone XS Max is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Samsung Galaxy Note8. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note8, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
