Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 5s has a general score of 84.9, which is a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's 84.2 general score. Both phones we are comparing here have Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ROG Phone 5s has older 12 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has Android 14 version. The Asus ROG Phone 5s body is noticeably older, a little heavier and somewhat thicker than the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro.
Asus ROG Phone 5s counts with an extremely better processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a slightly better looking display than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because although it has a just a little lower count of pixels per inch in the display and a bit worse 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, and they both have a display with the same size, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with way more brightness.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because it has 512 GB internal storage. Asus ROG Phone 5s shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a smaller camera sensor which gives a lower photo and video quality, and they both have the same video quality, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also counts with a lot better resolution back camera, a larger diafragm aperture to take better photography in poorly lited environments and faster video frame rates.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s features a bit longer battery life than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
