Asus ROG Phone 5s has a general score of 84.9, which is a bit better than Galaxy A8 Star's overall score of 82.1. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Asus ROG Phone 5s has the previous 12 version and Galaxy A8 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Asus ROG Phone 5s is a newer cellphone than the Galaxy A8 Star, but it's noticeably thicker and heavier.
Asus ROG Phone 5s features a much better looking screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a bit bigger display, a little bit higher 1080 x 2448 pixels resolution and a little greater pixel density. The Galaxy A8 Star counts with more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 400 GB.
Asus ROG Phone 5s features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also has a higher amount of RAM. Asus ROG Phone 5s counts with a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 3700mAh.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s features a way better camera than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for shooting photos and video in low light situations, it also counts with a way higher 64 MP resolution back-facing camera, a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a way bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
