Comparison review
The Galaxy M31 has an overall score of 86.5, which is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 5s's 84.9 score. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but the Galaxy M31 has the older 11 version while Asus ROG Phone 5s has Android 12. Galaxy M31's body is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than Asus ROG Phone 5s, although it was released a bit more more than a year before.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s counts with a bit better looking screen than Galaxy M31, because although it has a quite lower pixels density, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2448px, a little larger screen and a much brighter screen. The Asus ROG Phone 5s features a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s counts with a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 64 mega-pixels resolution, a same size aperture and a 0.59 inches back-facing camera sensor, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also has a much better 7680x4320 video quality. Galaxy M31 counts with more memory capacity to install applications and games than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy M31 and Asus ROG Phone 5s feature really similar battery performance.
