Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is slightly better than Asus ROG Phone 6D's 79.8 score. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Asus ROG Phone 6D has Android 12 version, so it offers a lot of extra features and enhanced performance. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star construction is way thinner and a lot lighter than Asus ROG Phone 6D, although it was released many years before.
Galaxy A8 Star has a much faster processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 6D, although it has lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores. Asus ROG Phone 6D features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a quite higher screen pixel density, a slightly higher 1080 x 2448 resolution and a quite bigger display.
Asus ROG Phone 6D has a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video definition, a camera with lot more megapixels and a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Asus ROG Phone 6D counts with a quite bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 6D features a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 3700mAh.
