Apple iPhone 8 has a score of 85, which is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019)'s score of 77.8. The Apple iPhone 8 design is thinner and notably lighter than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), although it was released about 20 months before. The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) and the Apple iPhone 8 both count with similar screens, although the Apple iPhone 8 has a lot smaller screen, a way lower 750 x 1334 resolution and a bit inferior pixel count in each inch of display.
Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has more memory to store more apps and games than Apple iPhone 8, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Apple iPhone 8 counts with a little faster processor than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores, it also counts with a 64-bits CPU.
Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) counts with a much longer battery life than iPhone 8, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Apple iPhone 8, and although they both have the same 60 fps video frame rates, the same video definition and a same size aperture, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has a lot more megapixels back facing camera and a lot bigger sensor shooting much better quality photos.
Although iPhone 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019). So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the iPhone 8, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), resigning a couple features and specifications.
