Galaxy M31 has a general score of 86.5, which is way better than Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s score of 71.6. The Galaxy M31 is a newer cellphone than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2), although it's somewhat heavier and thicker. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but Galaxy M31 has older 11 version while Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Galaxy M31 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy M31 also has more RAM. Galaxy M31 counts with a sharper display than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because it has a much higher screen density, a lot better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a quite larger display.
Galaxy M31 features a greater camera than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same aperture, the Galaxy M31 also has a back facing camera with much more megapixels. Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy M31, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Asus ZenFone Max (M2) also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Galaxy M31 features a much longer battery performance than Asus ZenFone Max (M2), because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
