The Moto Z4 is slightly better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), having a overall score of 79.8 against 73.1. The Moto Z4 is a newer phone, and it's also thinner and a little bit lighter than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Moto Z4 has older 10 version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie version.

Motorola Moto Z4 counts with just a little better processing power than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a bit better looking display than Moto Z4, although it has a bit smaller display, a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2160px and a little worse pixels density.

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Moto Z4, else you can save some dollars and buy the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), giving up a couple specifications.
