LG V10 is a lot better than CAT S42, getting a global score of 78.6 against 59.4. Both phones we compare here use Android operating system, but LG V10 has older 5.1 version while CAT S42 has Android 10 version. LG V10's design is somewhat lighter and way thinner than the CAT S42, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.
The CAT S42 has a bit more powerful CPU than LG V10, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with more 1.8 GHz processing cores. LG V10 has a much more vibrant display than CAT S42, because it has a way greater display pixels density, a much higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a little bigger screen.
LG V10 features much more storage to install applications and games than CAT S42, because it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal storage. The CAT S42 has a superior battery life than LG V10, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity. LG V10 shoots a lot better photographs and videos than CAT S42, because it has a bigger aperture to take better images and videos in low-light environments, a lot better (4K) video definition and a better 16 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
LG V10 costs a bit more money than the CAT S42, but you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
