The Galaxy A51 has a general score of 85.5, which is a lot better than CAT S42's general score of 59.4. Even though the Galaxy A51 and CAT S42 were only released with a couple months difference, the Galaxy A51 is incredibly thinner and notably lighter. These phones include Android OS, but Galaxy A51 has a newer 11 version while CAT S42 has Android 10 version, providing some additional features and enhanced performance.
Samsung Galaxy A51 features a sharper display than CAT S42, because it has a higher pixels density, a lot better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a bigger screen. Galaxy A51 counts with a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than CAT S42, because it has 96 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy A51 features a bit superior processor than CAT S42, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a higher number of cores. CAT S42 features a little better battery duration than Galaxy A51, because it has a 5% greater battery size. The Galaxy A51 captures much clearer pictures and videos than CAT S42, and although they both have a F2 aperture, the Galaxy A51 also has a lot higher video resolution and a back facing camera with a much better 48 megapixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 costs a bit more money than the CAT S42, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
