Comparison review
The Google Nexus 6P is just a bit better than the Galaxy S7 Active, with an 80.3 score against 75.8. The Google Nexus 6P design is a little lighter and a lot thinner than Galaxy S7 Active, although both were released with only 7 months difference. The Galaxy S7 Active counts with a little bit better display than Google Nexus 6P, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have an equal 1440 x 2560 resolution, the Galaxy S7 Active also counts with a just a little greater display density.
The Google Nexus 6P features a bit better CPU than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores. Google Nexus 6P features a better storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
Google Nexus 6P captures slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs in low light environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Google Nexus 6P also counts with a back camera with a better 12.3 mega-pixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active features just a bit better battery life than Google Nexus 6P, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Google Nexus 6P, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, resigning some features and specs.
