Comparison review
Google Nexus 6P has a general score of 80.3, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's 77.5 global score. Google Nexus 6P's body is lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, even though it was released a bit more further than a year before. Google Nexus 6P and Xiaomi Mi Max 2 have extremely similar processors, and although the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a higher amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Google Nexus 6P has a sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a greater pixel amount per inch of screen. Google Nexus 6P counts with just a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Google Nexus 6P also has a higher resolution back camera, a lot bigger back camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light images and videos.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Nexus 6P, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a very superior battery life than Google Nexus 6P, because it has a 5300mAh battery size against 3450mAh.
Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Google Nexus 6P, else you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, giving up a couple features and specs.
