Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4a 5G is better than the Huawei P20, with an 87.5 score against 78.1. Even though the Google Pixel 4a 5G is noticeably newer than Huawei P20, it is a bit thicker and just a little heavier. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Google Pixel 4a 5G has the older 11 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Google Pixel 4a 5G and Huawei P20 have really similar displays, because although the Huawei P20 has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2244 and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better pixels count in each inch in the display. The Google Pixel 4a 5G features a bit better performance than Huawei P20, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Google Pixel 4a 5G shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Huawei P20, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Google Pixel 4a 5G also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light photography and video, faster 60 fps video frame rates and a back-facing camera with more mega pixels.
The Huawei P20 and Google Pixel 4a 5G both have quite similar storage capacity for apps and games, both of them have equal internal storage capacity. Google Pixel 4a 5G has a little better battery duration than Huawei P20, because it has a 14 percent larger battery size.
Google Pixel 4a 5G costs a lot more money than the Huawei P20, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
