Comparison review
The Google Nexus 6P is a bit better than Google Pixel 6a, getting a overall score of 80.3 against 76.4. Google Nexus 6P's body weights the same than the Google Pixel 6a, but it is somewhat thinner. Google Nexus 6P features a much faster CPU than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
Google Nexus 6P counts with a sharper screen than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Google Nexus 6P's memory capacity for games and applications is very similar to Google Pixel 6a's one, they have equal 128 GB internal storage.
Google Nexus 6P captures a bit better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 6a, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for taking photos in low light situations and slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Google Nexus 6P also counts with a camera with a better resolution.

Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 6a, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 6a. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Google Nexus 6P, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel 6a, giving up some features and specs.
