The Huawei Mate X2 features better battery duration than Google Pixel XL, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3450mAh.
The Huawei Mate X2 takes much better videos and photos than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a much higher resolution back camera and a bigger diafragm aperture.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel XL. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate X2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel XL, giving up some features and specifications.
