The Google Pixel XL is a bit better than the Galaxy A40, with an 81.3 score against 79.6. Although it's the best in this review, we must highlight that it's also a much older, heavier and a bit thicker device. Google Pixel XL counts with a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher count of pixels in each inch of screen and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy A40 has a CPU that's just as good as Google Pixel XL's processing unit, and although the Samsung Galaxy A40 has a larger number of cores (but slower), they both have a 4 GB RAM. The Galaxy A40 has a better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel XL, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Google Pixel XL counts with a bit superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy A40, because it has a 3450mAh battery capacity. Google Pixel XL features a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture and a lot worse 12.3 MP resolution camera, it also counts with a way better (4K) video resolution and a larger sensor shooting better quality videos and photos.
