Comparison review
Google Pixel XL is slightly better than Sony Xperia Z5, getting an 81.3 score against 77.6. Even though the Google Pixel XL is newer than Sony Xperia Z5, it's a little bit heavier and thicker. Sony Xperia Z5 has a slightly better display than Google Pixel XL, although it has a little smaller screen, a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a little bit worse display pixels density.
Sony Xperia Z5 features a little bit better performance than Google Pixel XL, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU and a higher number of cores (although they are slower). The Google Pixel XL features a better storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Google Pixel XL counts with improved battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has a 3450mAh battery size against 2900mAh. The Xperia Z5 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and a 0.43 inches sensor, the Xperia Z5 also has a larger aperture and a lot higher 23 megapixels resolution camera.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia Z5. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Xperia Z5, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
