Comparison review
IPhone XS Max is much better than the Honor 50, getting an 84.5 score against 74.5. IPhone XS Max's design has the same thickness than Honor 50, but it's heavier. The Apple iPhone XS Max features a bit better processor than Honor 50, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster) and 4 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
Apple iPhone XS Max has a brighter screen than Honor 50, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1242 x 2688 pixels and a just a bit more pixels per inch of display. Honor 50 counts with much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Apple iPhone XS Max, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Honor 50 has a better camera than Apple iPhone XS Max, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for shooting images and/or video in low light situations and worse video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Honor 50 also counts with a back-facing camera with way more MP.
The Honor 50 features longer battery duration than iPhone XS Max, because it has a 35% more battery size.
