Samsung Galaxy A21 has an overall score of 76.1, which is just a bit better than Honor 9X Pro's overall score of 71.9. Samsung Galaxy A21's body is just a little thinner and just a bit lighter than Honor 9X Pro, even though both of them were released only 2 months apart. Both devices in this review include the same Android 10 OS.
The Honor 9X Pro has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A21, because it has a quite larger screen, more pixels per inch in the display and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Honor 9X Pro features a superior storage to install applications and games than Galaxy A21, and although they both have a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Honor 9X Pro also has 256 GB internal storage.
The Honor 9X Pro and the Galaxy A21 both count with quite similar CPUs, and although the Galaxy A21 has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Honor 9X Pro and the Samsung Galaxy A21 count with incredibly similar batteries duration. The Honor 9X Pro captures much clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A21, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the Honor 9X Pro also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor which offers a much better photo and video quality, higher video frame rates and a camera with much more megapixels.
