Comparison review
Galaxy S5 is better than the Honor 9X Pro, with an 80.8 score against 71.9. Galaxy S5 is an way older phone than Honor 9X Pro, but it is just a little thinner and incredibly lighter anyway. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS, but the Galaxy S5 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Honor 9X Pro has Android 10 version.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a bit superior processor than Honor 9X Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and less cores (but faster), it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a much more vibrant display than Honor 9X Pro, because although it has a lot smaller display and a little bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per screen inch.
Honor 9X Pro has much more storage to install games and applications than Galaxy S5, because it has 256 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that holds up to 512 GB. Honor 9X Pro features a superior camera than Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Honor 9X Pro also has a larger camera aperture, a much more megapixels back facing camera, better video frame rates and a much larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Honor 9X Pro features a very superior battery performance than Galaxy S5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
