The Xperia XZ Premium is much better than Honor 9X Pro, getting a 79.8 score against 71.9. Despite of the fact that Xperia XZ Premium is noticeably older than Honor 9X Pro, it's design is thinner and a bit lighter. Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit superior processing unit than Honor 9X Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xperia XZ Premium counts with a much better display than Honor 9X Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater number of pixels per inch in the screen and a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840. Honor 9X Pro has a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 256 GB internal storage and an external SD slot that admits up to 512 GB.
Honor 9X Pro captures a little bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Honor 9X Pro also has faster video frame rates, a larger camera sensor shooting better quality photographs, a bigger aperture to take better images in poorly lited environments and a much higher 48 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.
Honor 9X Pro has greater battery duration than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 24% larger battery size.
