Galaxy Premier has a general score of 64.2, which is slightly better than the HTC Desire 520's score of 58.9. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Galaxy Premier has older 4.1 version while HTC Desire 520 has Android 5.1 version. Galaxy Premier is an noticeably older device than HTC Desire 520, but Samsung was able to make it just a bit thinner and just a little bit lighter anyway.
The Galaxy Premier counts with a much better display than HTC Desire 520, because it has a little bigger display, a higher pixel density and a lot higher resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The HTC Desire 520 counts with a lot bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Premier, and although they both have equal 8 GB internal memory, the HTC Desire 520 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The Samsung Galaxy Premier has a better hardware performance than HTC Desire 520, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy Premier also has a graphics processor and 1 more CPU cores. The Samsung Galaxy Premier features a little longer battery duration than HTC Desire 520, because it has a 2100mAh battery size against 2000mAh.
Samsung Galaxy Premier counts with a much better camera than HTC Desire 520, and although they both have a 8 mega-pixels camera, the Samsung Galaxy Premier also has a way better 1920x1080 video quality.
