Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31 has an overall score of 86.5, which is a lot better than HTC One (M8)'s 71.9 global score. Although Samsung Galaxy M31 is heavier than HTC One (M8), it's just a little thinner and newer. Both phones we are comparing here use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy M31 has the newer 11 version while HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0, so it offers some extra features.
The HTC One (M8) and the Galaxy M31 feature similar processors, because although the Galaxy M31 has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (but slower). The HTC One (M8) features a little bit better screen than Galaxy M31, because although it has a much smaller screen and a little worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little higher display density.
Galaxy M31 features a greater camera than HTC One (M8), because it has a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels, a much larger back camera sensor, a larger camera aperture and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality. The Galaxy M31 features a very superior memory for games and applications than HTC One (M8), because it has 64 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy M31 features a much better battery duration than HTC One (M8), because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
