Xperia XZ2 has a general score of 79.1, which is better than HTC One (M8)'s overall score of 71.9. Xperia XZ2's design is incredibly newer, but somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier than the HTC One (M8). The Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit better processor than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and more cores.
HTC One (M8) counts with a bit better screen than Sony Xperia XZ2, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel density. The Sony Xperia XZ2 shoots a lot better photographs and videos than HTC One (M8), and although they both have a same size aperture, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also has a much higher 19 mega pixels resolution camera in the back, a lot better (4K) video definition and a lot larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xperia XZ2 has a very superior memory to install games and applications than HTC One (M8), because it has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB and 32 GB more internal memory capacity. The Xperia XZ2 features greater battery duration than HTC One (M8), because it has a 3180mAh battery size.
