The Google Nexus 5 has a score of 76, which is a bit better than the HTC U Play's score of 73.5. Even though Google Nexus 5 is extremely older and just a bit thicker than HTC U Play, it's body is still lighter. The Google Nexus 5 features a sharper screen than HTC U Play, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have an equal 1920 x 1080px resolution, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with a little higher display density.
HTC U Play features a much better memory to install applications and games than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the HTC U Play also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. Google Nexus 5 features a little bit better performance than HTC U Play, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and 4 less processing cores (but faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
HTC U Play has just a bit longer battery duration than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 9 percent more battery size. The HTC U Play captures clearer pictures and videos than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the HTC U Play also has a camera with a much higher resolution and a larger diafragm aperture to take better captures in low-light situations.
Google Nexus 5 costs a little more than HTC U Play, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
