Galaxy C9 Pro has a score of 81, which is a bit better than HTC U12 Life's overall score of 74.4. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy C9 Pro has 6.0 Marshmallow version and HTC U12 Life has Android 8.1 Oreo. The Galaxy C9 Pro is an older and a little bit heavier device than the HTC U12 Life, but Samsung managed to build it somewhat thinner anyway.

The HTC U12 Life has a slightly better screen than Galaxy C9 Pro, and although they both have a display of the same size, the HTC U12 Life also has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a just a bit greater pixel quantity per inch in the screen. The Galaxy C9 Pro counts with just a bit bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than HTC U12 Life, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy C9 Pro also has an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.

HTC U12 Life shoots a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy C9 Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for taking pictures and/or video in low light environments, and they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the HTC U12 Life also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution.

The Galaxy C9 Pro counts with a bit longer battery duration than HTC U12 Life, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
