Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is a little bit better than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, having a general score of 88.2 against 87.1. Huawei P40 Pro's construction has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, but it's a little bit heavier. Both phones in this review work with the same Android 10 operating system. Huawei P40 Pro features a little bit better looking display than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because it has a quite larger display, a little greater pixels density and a slightly better resolution of 1200 x 2640px.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 128 GB more internal memory. The Huawei P40 Pro and Huawei Mate 30 Pro count with very similar processing units, both of them have 8 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro features just a bit longer battery life than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh. The Huawei P40 Pro takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a higher resolution back facing camera and a lot bigger sensor capturing lot better quality videos and pictures.
