Comparison review
Huawei P20 has a score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than HTC One M9's 77.7 score. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the Huawei P20 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version, offering a lot of extra features. Huawei P20's body is a lot newer and way thinner, but also just a bit heavier than the HTC One M9.
HTC One M9 counts with a better screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels density. HTC One M9 counts with a bit faster CPU than Huawei P20, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bits processor and an additional graphics processing unit.
Huawei P20 has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. The Huawei P20 features greater battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity against 2840mAh.
HTC One M9 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Huawei P20, because although it has a smaller aperture and a tinier camera sensor, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the HTC One M9 also counts with a way higher 20 mega-pixels resolution camera.
Although Huawei P20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One M9. If you prefer to save some money, you can get HTC One M9, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
