Comparison review
Huawei P30 is a bit better than the Huawei P20, getting an 81.7 score against 78.1. Huawei P30's design has the same thickness and weight than Huawei P20. Both devices we are comparing here work with Android operating system, but Huawei P30 has older 10 version and Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie. Huawei P30 features a display that's just as good as the display in Huawei P20, because although the Huawei P30 has a just a little lower display pixels density, it also counts with a little higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a quite bigger display.
Huawei P30 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P30 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei P30's memory to install applications and games is just as good as the Huawei P20 one, they have equal 128 GB internal storage.
The Huawei P30 features a little longer battery duration than Huawei P20, because it has a 3650mAh battery size. The Huawei P30 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P30 also has a much bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P20. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Huawei P20, giving up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
