Comparison review
The Motorola Edge (2024) is a bit better than Huawei P20, with a overall score of 78.5 against 78.1. Motorola Edge (2024) is a a lot newer cellphone than Huawei P20, but it is a little bit heavier and a little bit thicker. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Motorola Edge (2024) has an older 14 version and Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Motorola Edge (2024) counts with just a bit better screen than Huawei P20, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a little bigger display. The Motorola Edge (2024) features much more storage to install applications and games than Huawei P20, because it has 128 GB more internal memory capacity.
Huawei P20 counts with a much greater hardware performance than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has 4 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a superior battery lifetime than Huawei P20, because it has a 47% greater battery size. Motorola Edge (2024) takes clearer pictures and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge (2024) also has a much more megapixels back facing camera and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality videos and pictures.
Although Motorola Edge (2024) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P20. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Motorola Edge (2024), else you can save some money and get the Huawei P20, resigning some features and specs.
