Comparison review

Huawei P20 is a little bit better than the Moto G Power, getting a general score of 78.1 against 76.1. Despite of the fact that Huawei P20 is older than Moto G Power, it's design is way thinner and somewhat lighter. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P20 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Moto G Power has Android 11, so it counts with a lot of extra features and performance optimizations.

Huawei P20 has just a little better processing power than Moto G Power. They have a 4 GB RAM and the same number of cores. The Huawei P20 has a little bit better looking screen than Moto G Power, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 2244 resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a little greater screen pixel density.

The Motorola Moto G Power's camera is very similar to Huawei P20's camera, because although the Motorola Moto G Power has a smaller back-facing camera sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture and a much more megapixels back facing camera.

Moto G Power has a bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P20, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Moto G Power counts with a much longer battery life than Huawei P20, because it has a 47% larger battery size.

Although Huawei P20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Motorola Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto G Power. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Huawei P20, else you can save some money and get the Motorola Moto G Power, giving up a couple features and specs.
