The Huawei P20 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, with a global score of 78.1 against 76.3. The Huawei P20 is a thicker and way heavier device than the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but Huawei P20 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4, so it provides some extra features.
Galaxy Alpha has a little more vivid display than Huawei P20, although it has way lesser pixels per inch of display, a bit smaller screen and a way worse 1280 x 720 resolution. The Huawei P20 counts with a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 128 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Alpha has a bit better processor than Huawei P20, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a GPU. Huawei P20 features a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 3400mAh battery size instead of 1860mAh.
The Huawei P20 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P20 also has a larger aperture.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, Huawei P20 is also a bit cheaper.
