Both devices in this comparison review have Android OS, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer has older 12 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Explorer construction is newer than the Huawei P20's, although it's much heavier and somewhat thicker.
