Comparison review
Huawei P30 has an overall score of 81.7, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 global score. Both phones in this comparison have Android operating system, but Huawei P30 has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Huawei P30 is a notably newer and just a bit thinner cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 5s, but it's also heavier.
Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a slightly better screen than Huawei P30, because although it has a little smaller display and a little lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a quite greater display pixels density. Huawei P30 has a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a larger number of cores and 2 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei P30 features a lot better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Huawei P30 also has a back-facing camera with a lot higher 40 megapixels resolution, a way larger back-facing camera sensor shooting much better quality videos and photographs and a larger camera aperture.
Xiaomi Mi 5s's storage for applications and games is just as good as the Huawei P30 one, both of them have exactly the same internal storage capacity. The Huawei P30 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 3650mAh battery capacity.
Huawei P30 costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
