Comparison review
Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's 84.2 overall score. Both phones in our current comparison have Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 has older 10 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has Android 14 version. The Huawei P40 construction is just a little thinner and a lot lighter than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released 4 years before.
Huawei P40 counts with a way better hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a more vivid display than Huawei P40, because although it has a quite lower display density, it also counts with a little bigger display and a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures clearer videos and photos than Huawei P40, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same aperture and a back-facing camera with a 50 megapixels resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also counts with a way better video definition.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P40, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much better battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity.
