The Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is much better than the OnePlus 8's 76 general score. The Huawei P40 design is just a little bit thicker but a little bit lighter than the OnePlus 8, and both were released only 0 months apart. OnePlus 8's processing unit is very similar to the Huawei P40 one, and although the OnePlus 8 has a higher amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
OnePlus 8 counts with a slightly better looking display than Huawei P40, because although it has a little bit lower pixels density, it also counts with a little higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a little larger display. The OnePlus 8 counts with as much storage capacity for games and applications as the Huawei P40, both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The OnePlus 8 counts with just a little better battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity. Huawei P40 features a bit better camera than OnePlus 8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a much larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with a better resolution.
Huawei P40 not only is the best phones of the ones we are comparing here, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones, making it an obvious call.
