Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G is slightly better than Huawei P40, having a overall score of 91.8 against 86.4. Although Samsung Galaxy A71 5G and the Huawei P40 were released only 2 months apart, Samsung Galaxy A71 5G's body is just a little heavier but a little thinner. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G has a more recent 11 version and Huawei P40 has Android 10 version, providing some nice extra features.
The Huawei P40 has a bit better display than Galaxy A71 5G, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater pixel number in each inch in the screen. The Galaxy A71 5G features a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Galaxy A71 5G also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1000 GB.
The Huawei P40 features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy A71 5G. They have a 6 GB RAM and 8 cpu cores. The Galaxy A71 5G and Huawei P40 feature very similar cameras, because although the Galaxy A71 5G has a way tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing way worse quality videos and photographs and slower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture and a much higher 64 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back.
Galaxy A71 5G counts with a bit better battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy A71 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P40. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Huawei P40, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
