Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is just a bit better than the Huawei P40, with an 86.5 score against 86.4. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy M31 has newer 11 version while Huawei P40 has Android 10. The Samsung Galaxy M31 construction is a little heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Huawei P40.
The Huawei P40 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy M31. Both have a 6 GB RAM and 8 cores. The Galaxy M31 features a bit more vivid display than Huawei P40, because although it has a little bit lower pixels count in each display inch, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a bit bigger display.
Huawei P40 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has a worse video definition, a camera with much less mega-pixels resolution and a tinier diafragm aperture, it also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor. The Galaxy M31 has a better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy M31 has a much longer battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has a 58 percent more battery capacity.
