The Huawei P40 has a bit sharper screen than Sony Xperia XZ1, because although it has a little bit lower display pixel density, it also counts with a bigger display and a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution.

The Huawei P40 features just a bit better performance than Sony Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Huawei P40 has a way better battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 3800mAh battery size instead of 2700mAh. The Huawei P40 shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Sony Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 also has better 60 frames per second video frame rates, a lot bigger sensor which offers a lot better photo and video quality, a lot more megapixels back facing camera and a larger camera aperture for better low-light images and video.
