Comparison review
The Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is much better than Xiaomi Mi 5s's score of 76.4. Even though Huawei P40 is noticeably newer than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, it is somewhat heavier and just a bit thicker. Both devices in this comparison work with Android OS, but Huawei P40 has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
Xiaomi Mi 5s counts with a bit better looking screen than Huawei P40, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better screen pixel density. The Xiaomi Mi 5s's storage capacity to store more apps and games is just as good as the Huawei P40 one, both of them have equal internal memory capacity.
The Huawei P40 features a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. The Huawei P40 features better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 3800mAh battery capacity. Huawei P40 features a way better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P40 also has a larger aperture for better images and video in low-light environments, higher video frame rates, a way better resolution back camera and a lot larger sensor.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, Huawei P40 is also a bargain compared to others.
