Comparison review

The LG G2 is a bit better than the LG K40, getting a 73.6 score against 69.8. Despite being the best device in this review, the LG G2 design is much older, a little bit heavier and a bit thicker than LG K40. Both phones we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but LG G2 has an older 4.4.2 version while LG K40 has Android 8.1 Oreo version.

The LG G2 has a much better looking screen than LG K40, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot better display pixels density and a lot higher 1920 x 1080 resolution. The LG K40 features much more memory for games and applications than LG G2, although it has 0 less internal storage.

The LG G2 features just a little better processing power than LG K40, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the LG G2 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. LG G2 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than LG K40, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and video and a tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing lower quality videos and photos, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the LG G2 also counts with a much higher 13 megapixels resolution back camera and higher 60 fps video frame rates.

The LG K40 has a battery life that's very similar to LG G2's battery duration.

Although LG G2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG K40, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG K40. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get LG K40, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
