The LG Velvet is much better than Asus ZenFone AR, with a global score of 87.1 against 77.4. The LG Velvet body is incredibly newer and somewhat thinner than Asus ZenFone AR's, but it's also just a little heavier. LG Velvet has a bit better CPU than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have a 6 GB RAM memory, the LG Velvet also has more cores.
The Asus ZenFone AR features just a bit better screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and more pixels per inch in the screen. The Asus ZenFone AR and LG Velvet feature similar memory to store more apps and games, they have exactly the same internal memory and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG Velvet takes much better photos and videos than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG Velvet also has better 30 fps video frame rates, a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking much higher quality videos and pictures and a larger aperture to take better captures and videos in poorly lited environments.
LG Velvet counts with greater battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has a 4300mAh battery size instead of 3300mAh.
